How are my photos protected?

Your photos remain your photos. The copyright stays with you.

When do I need this information?

You need this help if you want to know what happens to your rights when you share photos on Photoclub.

How to proceed

1. Only upload photos for which you have the necessary rights.
2. Decide how you want to display your photo when uploading.
3. Use private photo folders if you don’t want a photo to appear publicly in the categories.
4. Only assign a Creative Commons license if you want to do so consciously.

What happens next?

Photoclub is allowed to display your photo on the platform so other members can see and comment on it. Your copyright remains with you.

If it doesn’t work

Complete technical protection against copying is not possible on the internet. If you don’t want to show a photo publicly, use private photo folders or don’t upload it publicly.
